AOW
For each AOW, follow these directions:
1.) Put your name on the top of your article (you'll have to turn in the article with your reflection).
2.) Number each paragraph of the article.
3.) Read through the article once for comprehension.
4.) Read through the article again, and this time use our class marking guide:
6.) Write a reflection (at least a half a page) answering ONE of the reader response questions or a question of your own. Your reflection MUST be at least a half a page and it must include a quotation to support your thinking!
7.) Review your work with the rubric to ensure you are getting the score you would like.
8.) Staple your reflection to your article and turn in to the Turn In Tower BY FRIDAY of the week it was assigned ( you may turn it in earlier if you like).

- !: Wow! Aha! Or otherwise important or shocking moments.
- ?: Questions or moments of intrigue.
- V: Unknown vocabulary word or a word that is extremely important to the text.
- C: Connections (Anything that reminds you of another person, place thing, or moment in time)
